Caorle ( Adriatic Riviera )

Where fishermen once set out at sea, now tourists stop to soak up the sun.
A pretty resort, at the northern end of the Adriatic between the Italian cities of Trieste & Venice.

Caorle an enchanting old town with its sunny little squares, fishermen cottages painted in pastel colours, and a mix of designer stores, souvenir shops, fashionable boutiques, inviting pizzeria, coffee bars and ice-cream parlours where you can sit outside and watch the world go by.

Fishing is an important part of life in Caorle, it is a pleasure to watch the colourful fishing boats returning into the pretty harbour and unloading the fresh supplies of fish for the market and local restaurants.

With a wide sandy beach lined with sun loungers and parasols, Caorle's beaches are exceptionally well organized and immaculately clean.

Every 5 years in  September the town celebrates its heritage with a colourful festival and regatta.

Caorle is just a stone’s throw from Venice but without the high prices - making it an ideal holiday resort.
